Editor’s Note – Summer 2022/23

Summer 2022/23

Welcome to the summer edition of the Hills Wanderer!

We’re delighted to bring you our second seasonal snapshot of the world-class Adelaide Hills region.

Since launching the Hills Wanderer three months ago, we’ve been completely overwhelmed by the support we’ve received.

The feedback from readers across our region and beyond has far exceeded our hopes, while the support we’ve had from our advertising partners – those cafés, wineries, hotels, boutiques and other businesses that help make our region what it is – has been phenomenal.

Over the past three months we’ve been busy not only curating the best of the region for our summer edition, but also putting together and launching this website.

It’s once again been a pleasure to explore the best of what the Adelaide Hills has to offer and to bring just some of those stories to you in our second edition.

There’s so much to do and see at this time of year, so why not get the family together and head to the Adelaide Hills for a glass of pinot noir, a stroll through cherry orchards to pick your own fresh Christmas produce, or a day out at any of the many summer events on offer.

We hope you’ll join us again as we wander through the Adelaide Hills this summer!
