The Adelaide Hills is one of those rare places that has a unique charm through every season and this winter we hope to reveal just some of that charm to you.

Welcome to the winter edition of the Hills Wanderer!

Rugging up in front of the wood fire, sipping a steaming coffee in a cosy cafe, drinking wine at one of the region’s many cellar doors, donning your gumboots to venture into your backyard and listening to the rain falling on the roof on a lazy Sunday morning … that’s what winter looks like in the Adelaide Hills.

The Adelaide Hills is one of those rare places that has a unique charm through every season and this winter we hope to reveal just some of that charm to you.

In this edition of the Hills Wanderer, step inside the world of Stirling composer and filmmaker Probir Dutt, find out how you can get on board Dry July without giving up the drinks you love, discover what it was like working in a men’s world with SA’s first female detective and explore the range of unique winter events the region offers.

From art exhibitions and markets to a weekend of wine, there’s so much on offer.

So pull out your winter woollies, rug up and take a wander through the Adelaide Hills with us this winter!
