Jami & Brock

An occasion to remember.

An ordinary Friday night in April, 2024, became an occasion to remember when Jami Carman came home from work to find her partner, Brock Knott, on one knee at the end of a pathway of flowers and candles.

“The proposal was so wholesome and perfect, I was so shocked I forgot to say ‘yes’ at first – I left Brock hanging for a bit there,” Jami says.

The couple met at the Mt Barker recreation centre in 2020, after Brock filled in on Jami’s mixed netball team, and soon became inseparable.

“We took a fancy to each other pretty quickly,” Jami says.

“We really got to know one another at some nights out with the mixed netball crew, from then we didn’t really leave each other’s side.”

They were married at Woodburn Homestead at Angas Plains on November 1, 2025.

“It was just the most wholesome and loving day, every single guest was just so genuinely happy for us and everyone was so full of love,” Jami says.

“It was such a relaxed and perfect day, and the dance floor went off.”
